OPERATION IRON SNARE A HUGE SUCCESS!

After several months of planning, members of the Lee County Sheriff's Office conducted Operation Iron Snare.  This operation was detailed to pickup individuals wanted for back child support payments.  All individuals had writs for their arrest.  14 people were arrested during the operation and their total amount due for back child support exceeded $250,000.00 dollars.  All individuals were taken into custody without incident and additional charges were placed on some of the individuals for drug possession.  One person was arrested for giving false information to law enforcement officers.  This operation has taken on national attention with people from as far away as Nebraska wanting to know about it.
