The mission of the Lee County Sheriff's Office exists
within the purpose of the office itself. To provide fair,
honest , impartial and professional public safety services
to all citizens of Lee County, Alabama. We accomplish
this mission by striving to do our best to support and
defend the Constitution of the United States of America
and the laws of the State of Alabama. We also believe
that our primary obligation is to the citizens who, by
their will, allow us to serve and protect.
Goals
By acting in accordance with our mission statement, we
hope to have a positive influence on the quality of life
of the citizens of Lee County. Our efforts are directed
toward:
1) Ensuring public order and safety
2) Discouraging criminal activity by engaging in programs
that emphasize crime prevention, positive models for our
youth and protection for our senior citizens.
3) Providing for public education to establish a spirit
of cooperation between the public and law enforcement.
4) Striving to work jointly with law enforcement agencies
at all levels to ensure a coordinated and united response
to any issues that adveresly affect the safety and well-being
of the public.
