Crime Stoppers Solves Case

| On March 23, 2006 the Lee County Sheriff's Office arrested two brothers for breaking into a residence and taking several items. The homeowner had placed video cameras outside the residence and was able to record the actual breakin. A copy of the video was given to the local media outlets and after the footage aired, several calls were made to the Crimestoppers tip line identifying the two individuals. Investigators were able to locate the suspects based on this information and were able to recover some of the stolen property. Robert Earl Scott and Karl Ethan Scott are currently in the Lee County Detention Facility on $6,000.00 bonds each. |
